Which Condoms Are the Best?

When selecting the condoms available at Anteros, we've made a conscious choice. Our selection is based on facts and features rather than blindly following brand names. We aim to offer our customers a unique and varied range that isn't easily found everywhere else. So, why not try something different for a change?

Forget Brands! Welcome, Best Brands!

Let's start by sharing a little secret: there are only a few factories worldwide where condoms are manufactured. All condoms on the market are produced in these handful of factories. As consumers, we generally don't know the names of these producers, but we do know the brand names. Take one of the most well-known condom brands, Durex®, for example. The brand owner is Reckitt, and the manufacturer is Karex in Malaysia. Karex produces condoms not only for Durex but also for many other brands.

Producers like Karex manufacture condoms at the request of brand owners. They do so based on specific requirements, such as producing a condom that is 180 mm long, 52 mm wide, with a reservoir tip and lubricant. These condoms are then manufactured according to strict European quality standards and receive the well-known CE label, as they are considered medical devices subjected to rigorous controls. Therefore, the quality of all these condoms is inherently good, meeting the same stringent requirements. So, forget about brands. Or wait a moment...

The Best Condoms

What makes all these condoms different? It's the specific characteristics of each product. That's why each brand typically offers a range of condoms with different features to cater to everyone's preferences. At least, nearly everyone.

In our view, there are no bad condoms, as long as they meet European regulations. But which are the best condoms? While it may seem simple, the best condoms are those that you find most comfortable to use. You might prefer a thin condom, while someone else swears by a thick one. Or perhaps you're allergic to latex, making latex-free condoms the best for you. Regardless, a condom is not just a condom. They come in different widths, lengths, thicknesses, and shapes. There's something for everyone.

Below, you can read about the criteria we used to decide to sell condoms from the following brands. To avoid influencing your choice, we've listed the brands in alphabetical order.

Ceylor – The Condom in a Sexy Pod

The unique pods of Ceylor condoms not only look beautiful but are also very convenient to open. Moreover, condoms in these pods are well-protected. This Swiss brand is the best-selling condom brand in Switzerland. While their most popular condom is Ceylor Blue Band, we also give an honourable mention to Ceylor Non-Latex Ultra Thin. Despite the higher price, this condom is highly popular. It's only 2 microns thick and super soft. Ceylor condoms are available in packs of 6 or 12.

EXS – Out of Sight, Out of Mind

The British brand EXS offers a wide range of high-quality condoms at an attractive price. It's probably the brand with the most choices, with 15 different types of condoms. The EXS Air Thin condoms are among the thinnest condoms globally and are very comfortable to wear. Additionally, all EXS condoms are certified Vegan (The Vegan Society) and certified PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Oh, and the typical latex smell is eliminated, making these condoms odourless. EXS condoms are available in packs of 12 and in bulk packaging of 144.

Fair Squared – Fairtrade, Fair Rubber, Vegan

The condoms from the German brand Fair Squared ensure fair prices for raw material sellers in their country of origin. They contain no animal products and are not tested on animals. The condoms are individually packaged in paper, with no plastic wrap around the cardboard box. This brand is one of the few that includes non-lubricated condoms in their range. They also have a giant XXL condom that's a whopping 64 mm wide and 225 mm long. Fair Squared condoms are packed in sets of 8 or 10.

LELO – Unique Structure and Pure Luxury

According to LELO, it took them 7 years to design their unique HEX condoms. The result is a condom with a surface made up of small hexagons. This hexagonal structure provides a better grip, ensuring the condom stays in place during intercourse. Moreover, they are more resistant to tearing. Packaged in a beautiful, luxurious box, these are truly luxury products. LELO condoms are available in packs of 3, 12, or 36.

Manix – A Trusted Name

You've probably seen Manix condoms in the supermarket next to Durex. If you prefer not to experiment with other brands, you can trust Manix. In some other countries, Manix is known as LifeStyles®. The range includes various types of condoms. One of their top sellers is undoubtedly Manix Endurance, a condom with lidocaine used to delay ejaculation. Manix condoms are available in packs of 14 or 24.

Skyn – The Latex-Free Condoms

Skyn condoms are specially designed for people allergic to latex. Made of Polyisoprene, a material that feels very soft and is even more transparent than latex. The slogan Feel Everything says it all: you retain the natural feeling during intercourse. It's like you're not wearing a condom at all. Skyn Original and Skyn Elite are very popular and available in packs of 10 or 20.
